Need lots of help...

Leo has bunches of stuff going on that is bogging him down so I am trying to assist with the reunion. Please email me at keep.movin.on@gmail.com with confirmations. I do know some of you are coming but Leo and I have lost track and it is now getting close enough that we need to have a better handle on the number.
The main dinner will be Saturday night at Leo and Keri's church and for that we need a more accurate number than for the rest of it. Keri is our caterer for this event. Now don't you all fret about that because she loves to do it and she is good at it!!
There will be a continental style breakfast on Saturday morning and for lunch there will be the makings for sandwiches (meat & cheese platter) set out for folks to help themselves. This is all on Saturday. The rest of your meals on the weekend are up for discussion or up to you.
Jefferson has a wonderful bike trail so if it isn't too much trouble to bring your bike, Keri said she would meet the riders at Cooper with breakfast. Or we could drive to Cooper to watch the riders arrive and join them for breakfast there.
Leo, Keri and I have been kicking ideas around and I think we will make a list of things to do if you so choose. I told them I was sure the "older" set would be content to visit, reminisce and perhaps enjoy a card game or two.
So email ME- Barb Brooker (keep.movin.on@gmail.com) with the names of those coming. I will compile the list and post it ASAP.

Mad Mable and Blaze O Glory

Blaze and I have a hobby called "Cowboy Action Shooting" and if you've never heard about it, you can ask Blaze all about it at the reunion. In past years we have traveled to many states and met lots and lots of people doing this. Now with the gas prices, we tend to stay closer to home.

We are so excited to see everyone at the Brooker reunion!! We too will be pulling our trailer over to stay at the reunion. Great fun will be had by all! What a great time to get together and reminisce about all the times we've had together as well as get caught up on current family and activities.

Marlene's Pie

Yesterday we went to Harlingen to visit with Marlene and Bernard. Marlene cooked us a scrumptious roast beef dinner with apple pie for dessert. Then we enjoyed an afternoon of cribbage and the guys were too, too lucky.

Two of the Brooker Boys

Butch and Bill participated in the Senior Olympic Golf event in the Rio Grande Valley. They shot a respectable 75 on the Las Lagos Golf Course at Edinburgh Texas.
Aren't they a handsome pair?

Ridge Family

I am new to blogging, so forgive me if this is wierd. We are really looking forward to the family reunion this summer! We rented a motorhome & are all (Gerald, Cindy, Brittany, Tawny, Mitch, Amy & our dogs) loading up & driving there! This is a picture of Brittany, Tawny, Mitch & Amy taken at the pumpkin patch.

Begging

I have been at this blogging thing for years and I take care of 3 others besides this one. I have now started three that I had hopes other people would assist with by adding their input. It isn't happening. It is not at all difficult to do and I have sent many invitations to start. I sent out more this AM. This blog might falter after August unless some of you jump in and tell us what is happening on your branch of the family tree.
You are not obliged to add pictures- a short note is sufficient. You can also ask questions of others you might be curious about and perhaps someone will be able to satisfy your curiosity.
So give it a whirl and find out it is much easier than you think. And it will take some pressure off of me!
